Path of Miracles, a 70-minute work for unaccompanied choir, was created by British composer Joby Talbot to explore and depict the often-arduous Camino de Santiago pilgrimage through France, Spain, and Portugal. Pilgrims make this journey - hundreds of kilometers on foot - to reach the Santiago de Compostela where the remains of the apostle Saint James are buried. Walking the Camino has been described as a “a life-changing walk along an ancient path…that echoes with the spirit and wisdom of pilgrims who have gone before…”
Celebrated Choreographer & Co-Director Levi Marsman collaborates with The Sound Between’s Artistic Director Matthew Goinz to craft the story of the journey along the Camino de Santiago, featuring the incredible artistry of some of the New York City’s finest professional dancers, vocalists, and theater artists.
