Performed and acclaimed in the US, Mexico and Europe, the Festival will produce the UK premiere of Robert Rodriguez musical biography of Frida Kahlo. Described by USA Today as "exciting, raw, wonderfully dangerous theater", the production will be conducted by Cuban-American Odaline de la Martinez - a renowned contemporary music conductor and the first female conductor at the BBC Proms - and directed by Francesca Murray-Fuentes.
